not quite Achy Breaky, and not much use of the high C trumpet, but there are certain qualities that in my perception overlap. i find that certain melodies that have a very baroque quality to them go great with the right kind of up-tempo, old school country strumming. like i said call me crazy.  but in many baroque pieces at some point i hear country. i'll see how it works out with this one.
once i can get some assistance in finding out why my firewire mixer causes some sort of conflict with the DAW it's communicating with, thus causing lots of horrible clicks and pops during playback - or worse still: drop out, i will probably get moving on that one. its been almost a week, so i'll probably try to start up on it again by next weekend at the latest.
