This is my first released track as a solo artist. It's a song I wrote for my g/f at the time. My friends tell me it sounds kind of similar to Green Day, but I don't Know
I'm In Love With You

Hi Jake and welcome to the unsigned band web!!!
Just having a listen to "i'm in love with you". A couple of quick comments. Obviously the recording is pretty basic, but I think the melody of the song is cool. The guitar during the intro seems to be slightly out of tune which is always a little distracting for me. Your vocals are maxing out the recording, so they aren't coming our that clearly..
I think the song has potential but I would play with the recording a bit to try and clean all the instruments up and seperate out the vocals.

good melodie and very active sound but the masterising is crashed dude, do make a better record a this song cause (or maybe it's lo fi link) sound very harsh and lo fi but compo is good i can say so i don't understand why i'm listening to a so bad "sound" (even intruments seems to be well choosed) there may be something i don't understand lol  |

the bad sound might be from the computer mic I use
I don't have the best recording equipment, so it's all I can do now
