I've got something to say here.
I'm really pissed off right now. I was listening to this image on a website that portrays a loose end of our civilization that we call music. Some band is number 1 on some site and there on there way to win a million dollar contract while we all sit here and actually work to earn our place in line.

Ever listened to a song and just thought to yourself this sucks so bad.
Well I love lots of music, hip hop, country, jazz, rock, metal, etc. But I can stand this fu*kn emo crap. I can't stand it!! Just the stupid ass term emo is amazingly numbing.
I want us all to rise up and bring an end to this, we have the talent, the motivation, and the want. Anyone falling into this category I'm sorry to tell you this but you should just give up, why do you want to live and be classified as emo?
Don't loose your cool with me, just give up and let us rock people socks off while you go and cry in the corner. Give your interview and let everyone know your a failure and just give up, stop writing music with your enervation and enfeeblement. The path is long and restless and your just not cut out, make an album and give up, get famous and give up, sound like every other emo band and give up.
I beg of you people come to your senses, rise up or give up and move on, just move on! |

One thing I've learned from this site is there's so much good music out there - and there's a lot of not so good music that gets attention in the mass market. Seems there's a lot of luck to what catches on and what doesn't. I'm certain there's very very good music that is overlooked.
Best I can figure is make music for the sake of the song and let the chips fall where they may.
But what do I know, eh?  |

That kind of stuff used to bother me all the time!! Too many backroom deals and 'marketing formulas' have been driving the industry for too long. It's really why I started this site!! There are MANY!!!! acts on this site that blow away commercial radio!!!

I like emo. I don't know why there is so much hate for that type of music. I used to hate emo and bash it everytime I ha the chance but I grew up and got over it. |
