I was wondering if anyone knew what these were and how much they are worth...

I was wondering what the value of all of it together would be...

Well.....its looks to me like it is studio equipment...judging by the two tv monitors and the Alesis Midiverb 4 and the Panasonic tape recorder.......as far as price...mmmm
not sure
your best bet would be to find some music production studio forum and post the pics there.....or call your local studio and ask....my best bet though is studio recording equipment...Good Luck!!

well I guess the equipment could be used in a studio or for live sound and performance recording, and it's used so the prices vary.

3rd picture top to bottom
Power conditioning unit - 2u Rack unit
TRS balanced patch bays - I count 7 of them 2u rack unit

5th picutre
XLR Audio Snake Low impediance (send and return) from the look of it

6th pciture
TRS Audio Snakes

7th and 8th picutre
25 pin D sub connector (mostly used on fostex and tascam multi track recorders)

9th picture
Could be standard rca connectors, or digital coax connectors

10th picure
Alesis Multi Verb processor

12th picture
Digital Audio recorder

17th Picture
Thats your portable rack unit, it's gonna be worth more than most of that stuff.

I couldn't tell you exactly how much they are a piece but if you threw them all together everything there is prolly worth 6000 - 10000 american.

if they offered you 100$ for everything, then yes they are really out of their minds. try getting a hold of a studio in your area and see what it might be worth to them, it is older equipment but your power conditioner alone is worth at least 130$

Another place might be a church or something like that where they do live sound or recordings.

If I were selling it I would at least get 1000$ give or take for all of it together, don't take much less than that.

Good luck to you buddy! Smile

$10,000 ? No way! The most expensive thing in the pics is the shock mount flight case rack. You can get used power conditioners all day for around $40- $50. Depending on the shape of the used Panasonic DAT player, you can get them for anywhere from $100 to $150. The patch bays are the older style. You can get new ones for around $75 - $200.. Depending on which brand/type.
In my opinion $1000 is to high.... Sorry.

I work for a sound and lighting company and see this kind of stuff come and go all the time.
I would Ebay the stuff.

As far as the rack goes... I'd take it to a live sound company... They'd take it off your hands.

Anyway... Just my 2 cents..... Good luck. Smile

Where are you located?
