ok so i had bought a Series 10 not to long ago
I love the floyd rose
but the thing is
is these
fell out of the holes which hold the trem. sys.
can i just use krazy glue to hold them in there
and will that even hold? |

Hi Thanatos not too experienced with theses trems...but it looks like the holes for the threaded inserts have been either subject to violent use and hence worked loose or were drilled oversize
I would be inclined to use a two part epoxy glue (think araldite or some other engineering glue) to refit them. Obviously if you go down this route you won't get them out again with out makeing a mess of the guitar.Another way would be to glue wood inserts in to blank off the holes and redrill them the correct size , this approach depends on how much of a mess the body is in around/underneath the original holes. It looks like the body is made from ply so as long as the inserts are'nt too sloppy I'd go for the glue ...Hope this helps XVIg |

i would save myself some headache and buy a good one on ebay!! and replace it! |
