apparantly the second verse (i think) of stairway to heaven has a satanic message in it if you play it backwards.
I tried it years ago and yeah its there.
check this site out:

this site also has the lyrics forwards and backwards (or at least what it sounds like backwards.)

ah kewl.. i think iron maiden had one tune like that in thier 'piece of mind' album. something prolly more interesting is you can see aphex twin's face in the spectrum analyzer when you use a spectrogram on his tune 'symbol'

edit - or maybe it was 'windowlicker', cant find the tunes now

Have got wavepad, not as good as cooledit pro which you can also reverse stuff, but still fun to play with.

and if you happen to have a "VW" sign handy, spin it quickly and a swastika appears, apparently.
so read Unproject, read Laughing

We put a song," Nrub" on the goth charts which is "Burn" fmom the hard rock charts..did it with cooedit pro..mostly just for fun but , with a little polish it could be a good tune. Strange ,it turns out the music is" Bob" music, it sounds almost the same backward as forward. Shocked

Play a song by Ratt called "Right Between the Eyes" (or something close) backward. On the Invasion of your privacy album. I had a 4-track in high school and could play cassette's backwards and tried a few cassettes. You'll easily hear what I'm talking about.

I think it's all that our brains are trained to make sense of things, and we hear either what we expect, or we try to make sense of non-sense. (there's a dream theory that says dreams are just our brain trying to make sense of random neurons firing off).
