Hello All,
I am not even going to begin to explain, in this thread, what inspired me to write this, or the events that ocurred before and after. That'll have to go in the off topic forum. Anyway, just read and let me know what you think about it. You guys have no idea... Seriously.
"Like Caesar" **(Updated to Completion)
There is a guy.
He and I branch off of the same tree.
Julius in his mind,
he showed me
a place that I had never seen before,
unknown to me.
(Pre-Chor.):
It's funny how
a life can, evolve when
the course veers away into other realms.
(Chorus):
It's better
to be there,
instead of sitting and wondering what it's like...
What the f---
was going on in my mind
for all of that time?
I've learned that boundaries can be expanded.
Believe it, man.
I've got the fever
since he showed me how to live
like Caeser.
(Long Bridge):
He showed me how to live.
He showed me.
Now I've opened up the lid.
He showed me,
and now the contents all pour out.
It seems they've always been within.
Existentialism,
trapped inside, quietly dormant.
He showed me...
how to live.
He showed me...
Funny, isn't it
how-
(altered Pre-Chor.):
a life can evolve when
the course veers away into other realms?
(altered Chorus):
It's better
to be there,
instead of sitting and wondering what it's like...
What the f---?
What was going on inside my mind?
-can't explain...
What the f---
was in my mind?
(Chorus)
Like Caesar...
-to live...
like Caesar...
-to live...
like Caesar...
to live..............

Yeah, tell me about it. It seems I meet someone who's dark and depressed every time I leave the house. I used to be that way, but somehow I've become sort of a new person. I'm glad you liked it, Ron. Cheers!
