Hi there,

I'm writting because lately I've been having problems with the files of my band's site. The thing is that you can download the songs but you can't stream them because when you do it, an error message appears on the Windows Media Player window saying that the format of the file is invalid or something like that. The songs are still downloadable but most of the users prefer playing to hear them...

Can anyone help me??? Sad Sad Sad

Specifically says: "input media invalid" ... What sould I do? Some people told me about the problem and I thought changing the files would solve the problem but it didnt...

Is there a problem with my files or is it the site?

Pacheco..

I don't currently use Windows Media Player, and your songs played fine with Nero. I switched to Windows Media player and immediately had the problem. I tested out several other artists and did not experience any problem, so it must be something about your files. I downloaded one and tried to play it from my pc and still windows media player wouldn't play it, so I don't think it's anything the site is doing.

Try and re-upload just one of your songs (that you know works with windows media player on your machine) and then test it on the site.

You can use the 'modify song' and upload over your old song so you don't lose any plays, etc...

Let me know if that works.

Take care,
Ron

well...

It seems the problem was converting the files to mp3. The thing was that I had the files in several mp3 formats, and they used to work, but I bought a new pc and passed the files from the old one to the new one, burning the files on an old cd-rw, and for sum reason the files didn't work on this pc.

So I re-ripped the files from another cd and re-converted them. Sum of my friends have tried to hear the songs and it has worked. Let me know if you try any of the links and it doesn't work.

Thanx for the help man.
