WOW! These are really good lyrics. I love your play on words and the strange symbolism. This is definately 'my' favorite style of writing and you do it very well and with MUCH originality. I gave a listen to the song and was really impressed as well!!!! AWESOME!!!! Thanks for sharing!

Thanks very much. I've noticed that you're very helpful and positive with people when they post their lyrics, and I can't stress enough how great this is. Too many potential lyricists lose hope when their first effort isn't up to Leonard Cohen standards and their friends shoot them down. It's important to be encouraged every step of the way; too much rock nowadays dispenses with good lyrics, as if they don't justify the time spent on them. This is crazy, since the lyrics are the point of the song. Well, they are to me anyway.

I can't find my mind! It was blown away somewhere! Ok, that was half-joking, but like the last person who replied said, "WOW." That pretty much fits what most viewers would see in your lyrics. I don't know if you like the Deftones, but it reminds me of Chino's words, but far more complex. I love it. Check out my first post, and let me know what you think of my "words to a tune." I'd really like to hear your thoughts on what I wrote, because you my friend, are pretty good. Nothing more, except keep posting your lyrics! Smile

P.S., or whatever this is called in a post: I'm basically skimming the forum looking for three songs to read, and possibly give feedback on, for today. So, if you did post more, I probably missed them. If I see any in the future though, they'll be read (not sure about feedback... wow.)

Hey, thanks a lot. You write some good lyrics too. I don't really know the Deftones' stuff; my lyrics are mostly influenced by Paul Simon and Pink Floyd, with some Radiohead thrown in for good measure.
