how about if it's really cold? Or if you've got infectious foot fungus or verucas? Or if you've got a wooden leg? Are there no exceptions to this draconian sock rulling? What is this? Some kind of fascist anti sock drive? How about white socks with open sandals or flip flops? We need more guidelines here. Is there a leaflet detailing sock ettiquette available perhaps?  |

yes I don't like socks either.. if I where them in bed they seem to always come off in my bed lOL |

i wear socks to bed. otherwise it would result in cold feet. but hey i wear my normal day clothes to bed so....  |

Can't say that i wear socks to bed as i get too hot at night as it is - i have the nicest duvet!
My girlfriend on the other hand rarely takes her's off unless she's jumping in the bath or shower. It doesn't bother me - but i find it a little odd sometimes - much prefer to see her in stockings
As for eating in bed - there's only 'one' thing i eat and again that's only when my girlfriend comes round |

If it's a present shower for a baby then i say let the kid wear socks!!
If you mean wearing socks in your bed whilst eating your girlfriends socks and having a golden shower then i say NO! That's just filthy!
But if you mean wearing socks just in the shower then i say yes, but only if the shower is a communal one and you're more likely to get varucas and the like.

I've got an English class going on right now here in Japan and we are checking out the forum. Of the students surveyed, five out of five said, "no", to socks in bed. BUT, two of them said they have slept in socks when it is extremely cold. I myself have done it out of necessity, but really hate it.
