I'm opening a small coffeehouse and want to promote original music. I was wondering if it is possible to download these files to the computers I have in the coffeehouse so others might enjoy them or if I could set up one computer to constantly play the radio stations with the unsigned artists. I know for MP3s and other internet radio stations I have to pay license fees to all the labels and was wondering where this would fit into all of that? |

Hi Jenn-Jenn!
Congrats on the new coffeehouse!!! That sounds like fun!
You do have the ability to stream our stations for your shop. You can use one of the system stations on the home page, or one of our artist created radio stations on our 'stations' page. The system stations are not filtered, so keep in mind they could contain 'objectionable' content. You may be better off going with a station from our moderators smili www.unsignedbandweb.com/shane_milburn or alek acero www.unsignedbandweb.com/alek_acero . There are no license fees since our artists use our stations to promote their unsigned music. It would be appreciated if you would have a terminal available where your visitors could find out more about the artists and songs they like.

This is great news. I will definitely make sure I have signs up around the place stating that all music playing in our shop is original music from www.unsignedbandweb.com . We'll most likely have just one computer that is deticated to playing nothign but music off of this site. We'll also have it so that music is downloaded on the other 4 machines and have links and what not to the site so they can find the artits. I'm so excited about this! |

There's so much good unsigned music out there from unsigned artists - and it's really the kind of music folks usually have to search out. I'd bet there's a market out there for folks wanting to hear the best of the unsigned artists. Sounds like a great idea!
