It's been great exploring the area, although work has kept me pretty busy.

Things are more expensive here, (than in georgia...), but the food is better! Lots of trade-offs!

When is Amazon coming to play here?

I think they're both pretty awsome bands but i would go for Tool, being a drummer myself i just love the way that guys slams the skins! they're all awsome musicians and they move slightly ahead of a perfect circle for me. Maynard is a genious. holding two bands at high standards cant be easy!

I listen to quite a bit. Sunny Day Real Estate, Four Tet, Miles Davis, The Who, Aphex Twin.. just about something from every genre. I just don't get the whole tool phenomenon. Everybody says they use crazy time signatures so that makes them cool. if it's the time signatures that are cool, then go listen to some classical, it'll blow your mind with the mad time signatures. others say it's the dark mood. there's plenty of that in many other great bands. I guess I just don't see anything all that special with them. that's just my opinion though...

Thats fair, and you're right rechat, classical music has some of the weirdest time signatures and changes, yet because its all violins and cellos nobody gives a rats. which is sad. but, different music for different people. you cant call someone crazy beacuse they dont like a certain type of music or band. Tool.

Now any musican can see the talent in this band . Amazing live, amazing on record and just generally very interesting tight music. + They have been around for quite some time and influenced a lot of people. A LOT OF PEOPLE.

Perfect circle.

Tool wanabees. A more commercial version of what tool are, yes, they have some nice songs, some b a utifull parts, but for me, tool are way ahead.

We may aswell compare Soundgarden to Audioslave.......Ha

I am in total agreement. There is no question of who is better. TOOL have to be one of the most amazing bands of our day. I like Perfect Circle, but it is all kinda eighties goth rock. TOOL are incredible musicians and the songwriting reaches almost perfection. I love it all. New album in the works too. Im counting the hours. Evil or Very Mad
