the UBW-local copy of the recording of her tune "Heroes of Heaven" is glitchy but it won't take long to get past that and marvel at the solid songwriting- absolutely amazing in a young 'un (i can say that cuz i'm older than dirt). this girl's a talented lyricist with a knack for setting a vocal delivery tone and overall musical theme that adds to them...damn impressive. to listen to an unblemished recording use this link (another benefit of mirroring your content over different sites, people!)
production is solid throughout (fix the glitches, Amy!), and the melancholy melody of the main hook perfectly mirrors the subject matter of the lyric.
nice voice too- there's a few rough patches in her projection, but it'll come. this girl's a natural. her tune "This Is The Life" is a better example of vocal range. alternately smoky and open up front and reedy and thin in places and in the background vocals- nice and flexible.
i'm sold- great stuff Amy!
