Please share the secrets of your success !
From 14 plays in 4 months to 1560 in one week it almost seems....well I don't want to speculate !
Maybe there is some "known reason" ? Or maybe an "uknown reason"
Or quite possibly divine intervention. The world is a mysterious place.....
Well "POP" goes the pop chart ! |

hiya callum.
This has happened several times. Infact one artist came on to say it had happened to him and he couldn't believe it himself.
There's a small glitch somewhere. I'll notify ron see if can solve it. |

Yeah, let's don't assume the artist is behind outrageous spikes in their numbers. It happened to me last week-- and believe me, it's embarassing. |

The 'glitch' that happened last week was the first since we started, and it was apparent what the problem was. (For the techies, song plays were being inserted twice for those two songs into the database each time they were played)
This new song with 'mega' plays doesn't have the same issue. I will certainly continue to look, but it appears the plays could be legit. I'm going to write the band and ask if perhaps they could share the 'secret' of their plays (TV appearance?, Huge local gig with mention of UBW??)

That would explain why the songs were listed twice in my page manager/stats page... |
