There seemed to be a heck of a wait for the track to start, but once it did I gotta say I'm impressed.
I don't know whether you sang into a bucket or you used some great FX on some of the vocals, but I gotta try that sometime.
Really loved the lyrics.
Overdrive/distortion (too complicated for me, play acoustic so I wouldn't have a clue), could have been cut a little shorter than it went on.
But all in all I loved it.
Just my thoughts. |

Oh yeah baby. Simple and punchy. This had the head rockin (people at work probably think i've got autism)
Good 'classic rock' sound. |

like the track. Is that a zippo being lit at the start? Reminds me a bit of ZZ Top back when they were cool (La Grange, Jesus done left Chicago etc etc..) Like the bounce - great tempo and nice old school bluesy feel from combo of acoustic and effect vocal. Fuzz box guitar gives added dimension. Only comment I would make is that the drums could maybe move a little more in terms of dynamic and fills/ alternate pattern. But overall a nice track. Cheers |

Hey Im really glad to see someone caught the ZIPPO!!!!!!!And as far as the vocal effect, its actually done through a Digitech RP21 guitar effects proccessor, with a little fuzz and some reverb and flange. Anyways, Im glad u guys dig the track, keep an eye on us as we have many more tracks coming up!!!THNX for the possitive support. |

listening - Slave is cool. I tend to like un-effected vox and think things would be cool without the fx, but what you've done works pretty cool. Did you record the distortion guitar direct or did you mic an amp? sounds somewhat direct, but maybe not? not bad at all. It's very tough to mix acoustic guitar with distorted guitar but both come through very well here. kudos on the mix and vibe of the tune. good song.
Don't go away - the monster guitar patch at the start is cool. I've always liked that deep octaver sound. honestly not digging this tune as much as the first.
thanks for posting ,
