Little black buttons with tiny letters on a black background - Not a very good combination for most peoples eyes to pick out what they want to do. I'm older and I can't even read any of the words on the buttons in this format. If the buttons were white or even ligh grey with black letters I'm sure it would be easier. I'm talking about buttons all over the site but as an example find the edit button on a forum post you just left. Yeah, you can change the color of the text - but that is pretty well hidden - I've been there before and I still have to search for the darn link. Either brighten the background so the buttons rise to the surface or change the color of the button to rise to the surface. Thanks for the space to provide feedback. Otherwise I like this site a lot so far. It's pretty easy to get around in. Michael

Michael,

Thanks alot for the feedback. I really appreciate it and can understand your point. It's always tough to find a 'look' that is cool & functional. I agree there are probably some who have a tough time with the current color schemes. As Alek mentioned, there is a 'theme changer' on the home page at the bottom left. This may not be of help though since it only changes the accent colors and not the overall background colors.

I will start working on a new theme that is more 'eye-friendly'. Theme creation takes a while, so give me a week or two, and we'll see if we can come up with something better for you!
