What do I have to do to get my band on the random artist block?

Be a premium member, and have an artist picture uploaded. Each song from premium bands is put into rotation, so the more songs you have uploaded, the more times you will be featured.

You can verify if you are being featured in the 'statistics' section of the page manager. You will see a stat called 'spotlights', this tells you how many times your songs have appeared inside our front page and inside the random artist block.
