Have you found your freedom, at the bottom
of a bottle? And did you see the meaning of life
as it passed you on the street..but was it real
for you, or just a sign of your affliction..
preferred addiction.
Did you make a difference today, as you sat
there in your easy chair? And were you sleeping,
did it wake you as it crawled across your skin...
But would it kneel for you? It's just a selfish
addiction...preferred affliction
Did you analyze the problem?
And did you sacrifice the dream..again?
Does it feel for you? Just a greedy
addiction...a contradiction.
Would you, could you
do you dare? Can you,
will you, leave it there?
Try to minimize the tragedy...
Love thee addiction..
the contradiction..is my affliction..
