 What a unique sound. I don't think I've heard anything this diverse in years... The production quality is as good as it gets, the instrumentation is perfection, and the songwriting is superb!!!! Did I leave any adjectives out???? Great job Igloo Yew.....
 Very melodic if not spy'esque' intro with guitar and bass. Both riffs are excellent. The lyrics are very difficult to describe, but very appealing. I hear some 80's pop influences in the lyrics. The lyrics are quirky and abrupt as are the changes in the melody of the song. Just when you think you've got the song figured out, there is a complete about face and the song forges off in a new direction. Then as smoothly as it left, it comes back again. There is one last surprise at the end of the song, with a dramatic departure into a very mellow melody and beat. Very pretty. The keyboards, horns, and other assorted instrumentation really create a huge soundstage. I've not heard anything quite like it. I can only imagine what seeing this band live would be like. Must be pretty incredible. Very innovative use of chord structures, and vocals. The recording is flawless.

I would HIGHLY recommend this song for fans of ANY genre. Despite the progressive rock label, this song is really cross genre. There is something in here for everyone. What a fantastic listen........

Let me share some insight on your comments............
PRODUCTION QUALITY
So far, IY recordings have been self-produced in the band's rehearsal studio. IY's live sound engineer did an incredible job co-producing (he's officially a member of the band because of his great work!). It's amazing what he got out of the equipment the band has.
INSTRUMENTATION & SONGWRITING
All the members of this band have worked together, in some form, over the last 20 years. IGLOO YEW has only been a band for 6 years (although, that's a long time too!). The experience that each member brings to the table is evident in the band's writing and performance. It is truly a group effort! We are very lucky to have each other to work with.
OUR RECOMMENDATION TO ANY MUSICIANS
Not like we are anything great. We still have day jobs and nobody in the world knows us. But we are having fun creating music together!. It works for us because, over the years, we collaborated with as many people as possible. A group like Igloo Yew could never have been formed without the experimenting and networking that each member worked at for the past two decades.
Never give up on your goals as a musician. You will eventually, one day, find the right creative partners and conceive your musical baby you've been dreaming of! I think we're almost there!
