Hello all, I've posted a couple of Rock tunes and if you're inclined would appreciate comments.
"I might Bend" and "Rise Above".
http://www.unsignedbandweb.com/music/bands/1424/
In particular I'm curious if "I Might Bend" works? I liked how it turned out, but it's sortof experimental from a songwriting standpoint.
EDIT - I meant to say "Rise Above" was the experimental one...fingers on autopilot apologies
Anyhow, appreciate comments on either tune - what works / doesn't work for you? Negative as well as positive comments appreciated. Hope you enjoy.

Smili...
I just listened to both of your new tracks and let me just say...... WOW!!!!
Incredible writing on both accounts!!
My favorite was 'I might bend'. I really like the acoustic intro and you did a great job with the transition to the heavier rock part of the song. EXCELLENT job mixing this and keeping the segways impactful! I really like the driving guitar riff as well. VERY COOL!
This kind of pushes at the genre a little, which I like. The vocals have a nice effect, and the harmonies are great, but could be a little louder in my opinion.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!! Everyone should go check these out!!!!

thanks to both of you for the comments...
unproject, I posted into your review thread concerning "Rise Above". thanks for offering. I noticed in my initial post I mistakenly said "I might bend" is more experimental - my mistake . I meant to say "Rise Above" was more experimental ... look forward to your review on that thread.

Big thanks for your comments Kelly. (I was going to PM you to say thanks for listening but I see you're on a guest i.d.) I encourage you to register for the forums and visit in while you're listening to the songs on the site.

good stuff!! "On The Mountain" has a "Tragically Hip" feeling to it, and us Canadians love our Tragically Hip! As for "Rise Above" i noticed a little influece in the music of "U2" maybe? it's all amazing work!
