Hi
i'm new here. I would some one to review some of my stuff and in return i'll review yours. couldn't be fairer. The style is psychedelic melodic rock electonica with eastern, westen and weird & wonderful instruments.

hey listening knotts firsly lot of instruments need a lower cuttof, listen it heaphone and you'll perhaps think like me.
melody is beautiful remember me terra firma
good and inspired music , the volume is mixed too high when it comes later...you should masterise it with a heaphone...this is a mess doing stuff like this without mastering it |

Thanks PPB for the kind words. I know what you mean with the cut off i think theres a lot of low end energy going on, it's about two years old now and my production skills have vastly improved (check out the other tracks).
By the way it is mastered and checked on headphones. The reason it comes in louder later is to represent the dynamics of the track, i could have squashed the whole thing to an even volume but it would have ruined the dynamics in my opinion.
Any of your tracks you want me to review? |

Cheers facefitz, always puts abig smile on my face when people enjoy it, it's a great boost. I left a review of you new track in return. O by the way Knotts is the only track thats mastered, hence Peacock cave and Mongolia being a lot quieter. |

basicly you are not wrong, processing song is always miffing it a bit, just try to make a compromise for more formatted records...anyways i will check you again...just go my page and let a comment like you feel...cheers ! remember beeing more balanced will make your music better for more people but this YOUR choice. |

"peacock cave"
chromatic instrument become rares this time, they are often used for trip hop and electronica music...a bit a dnb strucutren, this record is hard to classify, so i would just classify it electronica, there is sophestication and idea, but this need patterns making of couple because the song is too linear and need patterns making forget the repetion of your notes theme...don't want ot make advice on production because it's good enought side to the problem i said you making that this stuff can be improved in compostion before making it better produced, this is not your first problem with that track at all...
yes you were right you made a lot of progress since the old track by you i reviewed, this is vanity even to say this in a review because i should't say you what you should make of your music, but just consider i would not have listened a second track by you after listening to the first if u didn't asked for reviews...do not feel it like a deceiption at all because the genre of music you are doing isn't at all my cup of tea if i need to have fun...however i'm glad to have listened and reviewed your track because i discovered something and that reviewing you is helping me understand music and do mine better...respect and cheers all peoples coming here with good intentions are welcome and you're in dude...cheers ! |

having a listen to 'Ghost' at the moment. have also had a listen to 'peacock cave,' but will talk about 'Ghost,' since others have review the other.
i like the intro quite a bit. it's very subtle and low with a sort of melancholy mood, then everything sort of comes in and it sort of sounds like the feeling you have when the day is done, like a Friday. at the next boost, it's kind of like waking up on a Saturday knowing you've got a whole day ahead of you. and keeping the the temporal theme i've got going on here, the climax of the track is like going out on Saturday night with everything winding down to a very content slumber. or maybe that's just the beginning to 'Knotts.'
anyhow, it's a nice sounding track on my monitors. the mix is nice and even. good work. |

Mongolia is what I like, as well as Knotts. Not too fond of Peacock cave, but don't sole to my opinion
It is much more enthusiastic then most of the phsyc stuff I've heard. If I were on a long road trip I would bring it along.
Keep up the good work.
