All, I'm going to be out most of the weekend, so wanted to go ahead and post some of the more interesting tunes I ran into this week. Not as many outstanding tunes as last week, but here goes.

1. Artist: Isaac Simons. "Leave Somehow". reminds me somewhat of Edwin McCain in the vocalization and songwriting. Nice tune - grew on me over the 2nd and 3rd listen.

2. Artist: Best of Seven. "Wonder" is high energy pop/rock.
There's no download option here, must stream.

3. Artist: Just Six Spaces. "The Same Beginning" and "Try". Good vocals similar to John Waite. Nice buildup throughout on the former. "Try" has an 80s pop/rock feel.

4. Artist: Tracy Starr. "Stand Up" features first class rock guitar work characteristic of the 1980s. A bit of southern rock boogie mixed in with the heavier rock sound. Riff reminded me a little of groove of "Train, Train" by Blackfoot. Listen to "Step Right Up" also. Tight riffing is characteristic of both songs. And you gotta love the photo on the Album cover...

5. Artist: Mojomama. "confusion". Funk/rock tune. The musicians here are excellent
as is the singing. Mix of SRV, Chili Peppers, and Aretha
