Hello! I thank you for taking the time to see who I am and to listen to my music. There is so much music out today that it's overwhelming! So much music but I still find it hard to find music that I like and can relate to. I work a regular job and play music everyday. I write songs because I love the magic of creation. I started out playing the drums at 8 years old and took lessons for a number of years. At 12 I took up the guitar and took lessons for 4 years with Ed Pooton at Markhams Music in Erie. I then taught guitar for a couple years and played in a band with my brother. We played cover songs in a band called "Sweet Releaf" and could jam all night! The next 12-13 years were spent raising kids and supporting my family. I sold my Gibson Flying V in 1978 to pay the gas bill to keep the heat on. We had a newborn and it was the only asset I had. After the kids grew into teenagers I got back into the band scene and formed a band with my brother called Sybling Rivalry. That went well for a couple years till our drummers' child fell sick and he had to quit. I then began playing lead guitar and singing lead vocals with TJ Rocks. After that I played drums for XL for a couple years until I decided to start writing my own music. I spent the next 3 years buying recording equipment and instruments and writing and recording "Waiting On The Gods". I played all the instruments, did all the vocals, recorded and mixed it on a Yamaha AW16G.That disc was released In March 2007. At present I am recording my follow up CD and promoting WOTG. I plan on doing a few acoustic performances this summer and next year after my 2nd disc comes out I will put a band together and tour. Thats the condensed version. Hope you like the songs and maybe I'll see you around!
Love and Peace,
Dee
