Ron Bowdery
Ron Bowdery Bio:

worked with Joe Meek, legendary record producer of 'Telstar' & Jack Baverstock of Fontana, who produced some of Dusty Springfield's early records. Worked with Gene Vincent,Garry Mills, Joe Brown, Ricky Wayne, Sounds Incorporated, Nero & the Gladiators & many others. Currently, I have a CD entitled Cantii; inspired by beautiful Kent, the Garden of England on sale in Kent shops. Having just signed for SiBee records there is an album due out shortly called 'Chillsville'
In the 60's & 70's I worked with Ray Rice, who I still work with to this day. I the 70's Ray & I were in a great band called 'Pepys Diary' We had a great singer, Frank Hill - sadly no longer with us.
Frank could sing Status Quo numbers & then move on to Natking Cole & Andy Williams numbers. Musically thoroughly enjoyable & a brilliant period.

What are the strange lines @ Nazca in South America. They can only be seen from the air. Are they, as Von Daniken thought parking bays for Alien spaceships

Vocal version of 'In the land of strange fruit' which is a tribute to the late Billie Holliday, who with great courage sang about the same subject. With my vocals Michael Buble doesn't have too much to worry about.

Poor old Gordon Brown gets blamed for everything under the Sun; come to think of it he also gets blamed for Sunspots. In the UK we have the best Press that money can buy. When Mrs Thatcher had 3 million unemployed ( and that was deliberate policy) the fawning right-wing press gave her an easy ride. This song is for those who blame Gordon The real blame lies @ the door of the City Spivs. Co written by Jeff Norman & Raymond Rice. Featuring Jeff on 2nd guitar

Hooray Henries were around @ the time of the General Strike in 1926, they tried to break the strike by driving buses. They were public school types. The Hooray Henries are still about today. The middle bit is meant to be satirical & not taken literally. To be fair to them there is no evidence that they wanted to shoot peasants & not pheasants. Featuring Jeff Norman on Bass. Jeff is featured in the photo.

The Blue is a market in Bermondsey. There was a record stall where I bought all the great Rock Hits by Elvis, Jerry Lee, Buddy, Don & Phil, Little Richards, & Fats Domino. Great place the Blue & great place for a knees-up. Featuring Ray Rice on Keyboards.
