Out of Time Bio:
It all started a few years ago, when bass player Erik Johansson and drummer Mattias Nordqvist began talking about starting a new band together. Recruiting guitar player Anders Olsson meant the forming of Sion. Influenced by bands like Dream Theater, Toto and Freak Kitchen, the band set out to write songs that constantly were pushing their playing skills, progressive style with odd time signatures. But something was missing. Erik decided to talk to Martin Häger (keyboardist for the fusion group Happy Face, in which both Erik and Anders played) about joining the band. Happily, Martin agreed. And so the band made a brand new start under the name Out of Time and eventually they released their first demo record, "Astray", in the summer of 2006. |
