Shadow Aspect Bio:
Shadow Aspect started out in January 2001 under the name Down to None, with bassist Robb Webb (Six Stage Suicide, In the mind of Henry Holmes). After about 9 months drummer Aaron Phillips fled England for a life in Wales, then returning some 2 years later. The band decided to reform but with a new bassist, Lionel Percy, and with a new name and sound. So in January 2004 Shadow Aspect formed, with the intention of producing more Groove orientated thrash metal.
With a better then expected first 8 months gigging, Shadow Aspect are growing from strength to strength, gaining a more mature and heavier sound, and are growing as a band. With support slots with the likes of Gutworm, Interlock (sadly both shows got cancelled, so it don't really count) and Canadian band Zeroscape (which did happen) we are gaining a fan base all over Kent, and even as far away as Lithuania (we have even been asked to play there....crazy....we know).
The rest of the year just looks better for Shadow Aspect with our vocalist appearing in Total Guitar magazine, and singing on a track, and possible shows being arranged as far as South Wales. |
