Gary Dranow and The Manic Emotions Bio:
Though its been 10 years the time is right for Destiny Road
Ten years in the making Destiny Road - Rough Cuts is the prelude to the upcoming Destiny Road Album from Gary Dranow and the Manic Emotions. These tracks are just as they were first layed down 10 years ago. Using Jefferson Airplane's old 2" 16 Track machine the "Emotions' had intended to release the album in the Summer of 1995. Best laid plans of mice and men . . . The wrong woman at the wrong time put a wrench in the whole project as the entire band went through incredible personal battles. Those battles all resolved we have decided to finally finish the album but to be true to the times and changes we thought we'd release "Rough Cuts" to memorialize things as they were. Renewed and full of vigor the band members are very anxious to pull the tracks over to Pro Tools and complete the album (which will require final vocals, complete some lyrics, final arrangements then Jet and Jerry behind the board to bring it home). Rough Cuts is for the die hard "Emotions" fans, timing couldn't be better.
