The Devouring Bio:
In mid 2011 The Devouring was unleashed onto the Minnesota metal scene, paying homage to the original bands that forged the sound of metal, while bringing forth new perspective to the craft. Breakdowns encased with skull shaking blastbeats, all balanced out with an electronic aspect unlike anything in the Minneapolis scene. A dual front of vocalists puts forth an intimidation, giving high energy and unrivaled presence. Backed by guitarists Eric and Josh, who not only shred but sing with a destructive melody. The drums are dominated by Phil, who not only holds everything together flawlessly, but enhances the music with a unique style.
