A Million Drones was formed in November 2011 as a group of ex. metal band musicians looking to stray from the local metal scene and create something different. Former Twelve After members, lead vocalist Alex Wiest and lead guitar player Ashton Shull were united with former members of Seven Revolutions, guitarist Gary Conahan and bassist Robert Conahan in response to an ad posted online. The four immediately clicked both idealistically and stylistically. Within a month's time they decided to induct the name A Million Drones as their new and permanent project. After the departure of original drummer Jason Lech (awesome drummer, see him for lessons!) Eric, a long time friend of Ash's, would come into the picture just a short time later. This solid rock percussionist only took one tryout for Gary, Ash, Alex and Rob to decide that he would be the ultimate fit for the band.
A Million Drones is a hard hitting rock band that does not only have one hell of a raunchy tone but is also bluesy, melodic and tasteful. With catchy choruses that will be stuck in your head all day, this is a band you won't want to pass up lending an ear to. At this time we do not have material posted yet but be sure to keep an eye out! The band's 6 song EP has been released and is available on Itunes, Amazon, Reverb Nation, Facebook and more!
