hi Paul...
I really like the guitar riff and the melody of your new song!!! The drum beat gives it kind of a 60's feel, but the lyrics and song structure are much more modern. The vocals sound great, and I like the way they're mixed in (very little effect or reverb). I think that works best with your voice.
Cheers!!!!

I really enjoyed this song! I especially like the opening bit how it sounds kind of chaotic and just sort of comes together into a nice little riff. Are you the singer? I love the vocal style. All in all a solid song.

Thank you both for your comments
Yeah I am the singer on this song. I can't believe the comments I get for my vocals. I was always told I had a unique way of singing but I always thought that was just a polite way of sayiing "hey why don't you try singing with the mic turned off"
Cheers

Very unique riffs, I agree that it does sound like a throwback to an earlier era, but in a very good way. I like your vocals a lot, very Bob Dylan - honest, laid back and cool. |

i might be miles off here but it reminded me of willy mason's style which i suppose is also dylan esque - love the way the rhythm section bumps along and the vocal just stitches it all together |

The vocals reminded me a bit of Dylan also, but it works really well with your songs. I really enjoyed listening to your music. You've become one of my favorite bands on UBW!

Thanks again, again.
I grew up with Dylan on the stereo so I guess thats where my vocal style comes from. I have not heard that much of Willy mason but the songs I have heard of his I like. |
