here's the review i posted for this track in the 'acoustic' forum:
just having a listen to 'blue is a woman' now. really nice track, great recording. really balanced. so kudos on that. the song also develops nicely. i like that it starts off nice and slow and continues thus until about 3/4 into the song and then there's a bit of a tempo change and everything picks up quite a bit. the ending is a bit abrupt, but that's just my opinion. whoever is doing the singing has a nice voice and the subtle harmonies are add a nice touch of ambiance. i also like the fact that the vocals aren't overpowering, as many lyric based artists bring the vocals way too much to the forefront. this all blends together nicely. so yeah, i really like the tune. i'm not really a lyrics person, so you won't ever find me commenting on those either way.
good, solid track! |

listening in on your tune now, nice effort, i havent got alot to add that gorgatron hasnt already said...lol... i agree the song could have carried a bit further, pretty good production on it, nice melody / harmonies... love the 'mid' section with the dropping vocals... look forward to hearing more stuff from you in the future...
