hey people...i'm up wicked late finishing this track. i think it's finished. may change once i know how to play the keyboard and have more experience putting songs together. anyhow, i'm not sure which genre to call the song. i chose 'electronica,' but my tune doesn't really sound like any of those. maybe similarities, but i can't tell. if someone would be kind enough to help me out with this, i'd appreciate it.

the song's repetitive, but it's not...if you listen closely. or maybe it is and i'm full of it! Laughing

Geez man...they should make a Genre section just for you..
"Movie Sopundtracks"
..i dont know if you do it on purpose and dont be offended but.....this sounds like another song from a movie soundtrack....lol
but yet a sad movie.....
this reminds me alot of something like jazzy easy listening....i wouldnt classify it as electronica though...
However!!!,,,,the song is moving and the sound is warm...

hey dude, lovely tune, great mixture of melodies throughout, i like the kinda oriental scale youve managed to blend in there... very late mogwai with an oriental twist... Laughing

im thinking 'sine wave vs chopsticks' Laughing

nice atmospheric piece man, dont know what catagory to put it under... maybe film music, maybe ambient, though i dont even know what 'electronica' is so it could be in the right on now!!!

nice mixing again mate... good to hear a fade out too.... Cool

gunner...no offense at all man! at least it sounds like something and it seems to sound good. that's the main thing. maybe they all kind of sound like soundtracks because they have no lyrics and therefore i try to keep them moving along to compensate for that. the operative word here is 'try.' although, i guess on some level i have succeeded. thanks again for your feedback, as it is always much appreciated! Very Happy

face...i thought about ambient, but after hearing your track and PPB saying that it was 'ambient,' i wasn't sure what to think. i think it's 'ambient' but i'm also going on actual dictionary meanings of the word 'ambient.' genres don't tend to do that. i mean there's a genre called 'shoegaze'!!! so, i'm going to listen around to figure it all out. thanks again for the feedback!

Lovely track.
I love having some stuff like this on my ipod for those occasions at work where you just want to chill and switch on the autopilot for a while.
Do work but be having a break at the same time. kinda hard to explain.
