hey folks. got a new one up on the solo page. the title is kind of stupid, but i'm crap with that sort of thing. i'm not sure what genre it is, so if you have a suggestion other than what i've got so far, let me know. since i've never had a piano lesson in my life and have only had my midi controller for a few weeks, i'm pretty pleased with how this turned out. for those of you who are experienced keyboardists, please be kind.
thanks in advance and enjoy (i hope)!

Dude, your stuff keeps producing images in my head when I hear it. I'm serious. I think your stuff would be great as soundtracks. This one has a melancholy thing going on - kindof like somebody lost their best friend, walking down the sidewalk as the camara pans back and the credits start to roll... |

thanks smili! as i already mentioned, i was pretty pleased how it turned out considering my limited skills with the keys. i need to work on the fills and that stuff. i plan on expanding it once i have an idea what i'm doing with a keyboard. thanks again! |

Yea man, Feeling this tune... can i say it??? lol... this style of music IS my cuppa tea... you're getting to grips with that software man!!... which really brings out the great 'brain' you have for a composition...
lol @ smili... dude i want what you're having!! i know what you mean though, its great when the blinkers come down and the music takes you somewhere else... i think thats possibly why so many people are addicted to making / listening to music... a good dose of 'escapism' never hurt anyone... except for those who went crazy while they were away...
anyways, keep up the cool tunes 'Gorg'

it sure as hell won't be writing hit songs with lyrics!!! glad that the songs provide a bit of imagery, since i don't give lyrics to provide for that. thanks for the kind words everyone! |

personally, not my first choice in genre! However I respect anyone who makes music! I have windows media plaer on repeat and i must have listen to this a good 3/4 times without relising! I enjoyed it quite a lot if i'm honest! It does have the feel of a film soundtrack as has been said before, I'd love to hear it with words? If it is intended to have words or not! But all in all i couldn't find any major or obvious faults with it, good work keep it up! |

Very nice composition. I like the laid back mellow drums. Its not often you hear an arrangement like this with a small string ensemble and jazzy drums. It sounds like a live recording. I agree with the soundtrack comments. You clearly have some skill with recording and mixing. It sounds very professional but not to clean and overproduced which to me always seems to ruin good music. Well done. |

thanks a lot for the comment! i was pretty pleased with how this turned out considering it was my 2nd track ever recorded and i'm not much of a keyboardist. lol thanks again and i'll have a listen to your new tracks after a bit! |
