Hey again Folks, ive uploaded another new one... had to upgrade my account for it...lol.... I have decided to simply use / re-use this thred for everytime i put a new one up, so if you see it come back to the top but have already commented etc it might still be worth checking out... right thats the PR crap out of the way...
This new song 'Virgin Amidst Sluts' is kind of a wierd one for me... it deffinately slips into a genre of music that i have never touched on before...ive put it down as 'house' though i honestly have no idea what excact genre it is... There are so many!!!! (maybe one for PPB to answer thinking about it... he will know more than myself on the matter)
basically the title is derived from the fact its my first attempt at a 'dance' based song, and i know there are a lot of experienced musicians in that field... guess you guys are the sluts... i still managed to get my trusty guitar involved, my biggest qualm is that it simply drops off at the end... ill have to sort that out, (which i can now ive upgraded my account!)
anyhow... see what you think... get it here...
Virgin Amidst Sluts
or just visit my solo page below if you wanna see the photo that goes with it....lmao |

very cool lad. good one. this is in some ways cooler than the dance thingy i've been working on that i've mentioned to you. i like the guitar you've added. nice and textured too. a hidden melody against the aggressive chords. then the melody gets louder, then sinks again.
i play this in itunes, any time i listen to one of you tunes, the following song is always the spiritual 'Go Down Moses' sung by Paul Robeson. so i heard this applause right after the drums cut out and thought it was your track. then i remember that it's 'Go Down Moses' being performed. stark contrast in styles.
very good job man! |

idear 1: pretty cool. has a mid east feel to it which i enjoy. should develop into something quite nice. since you're the only guitar in the bunch, when you do this with the band, you should think about getting a headrush peddle. i know, i'm always saying "you should think about getting..." but you'd be able to keep the loops going. cool idea, though.
#2: kind of a 60's psychedelic thing going. with just the guitar, it's sometimes hard to imagine how some of it fits together, although i'm sure it works. like the part with the fast chords.
and lastly...the third one starts off with a really cool lick, but then what the hell???? just kidding. the full chords will sound great with some drums and the bass getting busy right along with you.
all should shape up to be good tunes. can't wait to here what they sound like with drums and bass to fill them out. now you just have to figure out how to record the whole band, and invest in some mics. good luck with the songs! |

cheers guys... the new band line up includes another guitarist... (hence idea 1) we are all meeting up on wed night for a couple of brewski's and a chat, its gonna be alot different to the last daffodil sword line up... i loved the dissonance in the last line up but seeing as we are drafting two new members in, i think its a good idea to have a bit of a change in direction... hopefully it'll all work out
GORG : yea man i would deffinately have thought about a headrush peddle if i was gonna be the only guitar guy... might consider it any way (when my cash flow problem returns to some form of stable state!!) you can keep saying ''you should think about...'' all you want dude... every so often your right on the money... oh by the way man, you missed your chance on a pun with ''fits together,''
im deffinately gonna need some new mics pretty soon... more money to wave 'bye - bye ' to
anyways... cheers again you 2... |

seems to be a groovy song of the 90's like dub music/house/trance very stylish, i would have it to my homesite because it's just very good and i'm sure it's sellable stuff cause i'd like to buy such tracks and even this one. |

listening, this could be classified ambient because there are no long pause with pads in dnb and you faded the drums sometimes.
Yur track is really crasy i have fun with it, imagining lot of stranges creatures on the ground moving fastly, scary , yours pads are just enigmatic and dark, very good facefitz u own some very good tracks, i cheer you to continue and if you have a minimal luck you could have a label in the future. |

yeah dude, it sounds like you were pissed up!!! just kidding. cool tune. i like all the changes in the percussion you've put in. also really like the change around the 5 min mark. everything kind of calms down for a bit. it's really long, too. crazy. |
