cheers Gorg!!! i agree that middle section where it all calms down is probably my favourite chunk in the tune too... kinda floats back to some sort of state of normality... i think it would have been way too much too have nothing but quite harsh dissonant sounds all the way through, thats my story and im sticking with it..... of course i could have just been sobering up as the composition process was going on!!! must have hit a 'chilled' state some where in between 'inebriation' and 'sobriety'!!!
catch you later dude... |

i was looking for a link to your profile and found the song, but hadn't read your post. i think my comment there just about says it. the solo was an interesting twist in the song development, but you could have kept building and going with out. either way in my opinion, but the solo was really good. i personally liked the phrasing and liked the fact that it wasn't constantly too busy. very much a progressive rock tune.
every time i play one of your tunes off the net, applause follows immediate afterwards because the following song is a live performance from the 60s of the spiritual 'go down moses.' it throws me every time and i think you've added. sometime you should do that to confuse me even more.
great work on the song! |

yeah man, thanks for the support 'Gorg'...
i think theres a definate post - rock and prog influence in there... as you suggest i might carry the build up through a touch longer.... and change the middle section of 'lead guitar' phrasing after the change.... im not reall happy with that at the moment...
cheers again for the comments tate... |

Interesting track.
I was unsure when I heard the intro, but once it got into the groove of it, it picked up nicely. Nice guitar work a bit later on as well.
Overall it sounds kinda proggie, which is good
(I think I just made up a word) |
