Help us rename our band and get a free CD.

We are a hard/modern rock band based out of Orange County, CA and although our music rocks, our name doesn't. We named ourselves after a song from a band we all like and it's given us nothing but trouble from everyone we talk to. Our current band name is:

To All Our Saviors

We are not a Christian or religious band at all, but naturally everyone assumes we are and gives us dirty looks, etc. Most importantly, we don't want people to ignore us because they think we have some spiritual agenda.

So here's your chance to throw around your band name ideas! The 4 of us cannot agree on a name to save our lives, but we're all intent on changing the name of the band. Listen to our music and watch our video on our MySpace profile to see if it inspires you somehow!

We are prepared to send out at least 5 of our CD's to the people who come up with the main 5 names we like. We may even send out more! And although the CD you receive will have our old band name on it, the songs are only a few months old and we will be keeping them in our set list for a long time. We will even include them on the full-length we put out in early 2008 (under the new band name, of course).

still inspired and alive here with descriptive solutions gunner, if they was someone that could answer this post with a good idea it's you because i think wild identity is a really better name than the one now for them.

well ok i didn't look your profile but's now it's done, i'm not a fan of this kind of music but the video with this music making my senses get a lot of fun with, just regret you don't make electronica instead because your page and video and song are really high quality work...this kind of music is very popular and you do it very well , i think you have a an interesting future (and present too but maybe a dark past if i look at the video haha) making music with your bands dudes.
All seems perfect to me.I mean i didn't need to listen it at whole to get the idea a band like you is maybe signed or will be soon with a real agreement if you take care not making been too much stolen by it Shocked

hey guys, great songs.. not my favourite style of music, but good quality songs none the less, my little brother might like you ill mail him your myspace details...

as far as a name goes, im kinda with gunner on 'broken silence' if there isnt a band with that name already...that name suits your music quite well, good luck with your stuff guys... Cool

Thanks for the suggestions and kudos, I appreciate it! Unfortunately Broken Silence is already taken on MySpace. There have been a handful of names that we all liked but were taken as direct profile URL's on MySpace already. It may sound trivial, but it's very important we are able to get:

MySpace has become the quintessential web presence for unsigned artists to connect with fans so we are making sure the name we choose isn't already taken. It's definitely not easy!

Any thoughts on the name Kill The Hero? The band is kind of split on this one but some outsider feedback may be able to persuade the others.

'kill the hero' is a cool name. it's kind of the opposite of what you have now, but probably better suited. you guys just don't sound like 'to all our saviors.'

i mean you do, because you are, but you shouldn't be. 'kill the hero' has more punch to it. if people here that, they will take notice for sure. it's also in no way misleading. you could go with 'kill the savior' but people might take that one the wrong way and think you're a bunch of devil worshipers. it might actually work in your favor, but not attract the crowd you're after. kind of like your current name does now. yeah, 'kill the hero' is one of the better suggestions. good luck!

heres one..... how about "Half-life Assasin" ..... we acctually toyed with the idea of a name change, and thats the one we were GOING to change it to..... the only pain about name changes is IF... big IF, you already have a fanbase its a lil hard to go changing names and letting EVERYONE know you did it..... getting them to think of you as the SAME group is a lil hard once you already have a bit of a reputation.
