GG | if you're looking for something inexpensive, you might try m-audio. they make powered reference speakers that run from roughly $130 up. the model i have was $170 including tax, and have 20 watts per channel. they've been a nice change from my crappy computer speakers. |

finally had a listen. i guess i can't really add much to what others have stated or what you've mentioned yourself. i didn't here the cha-chunk sound towards the end of the first minute or anywhere after that, unless it's ever so faint.
sounds like this could be shortened and broadened to a much longer piece, like an obscenely long instrumental. i go for those. you could take it in a lot of directions. it's definitely something that's meaty and would work great as part of something larger. if you tweaked it a little, it would be something that easily stands on it's own. add something to add a bit of contrast and chisel out some of the repetitiveness. the guitar work sounds very nice. i, like you, don't really know what i'm doing and just try to do what sounds good, so i know where you're coming from there. nice work for sure! |
