My computer has caught a case of the downloader virus, so i had to reformat my hard drive

Big pain in the rear, but I was very luckly to catch it before it destroyed my hard drive... so i was able to save most of my music related files (i hope...*gulp*)

The only thing i will really lose is time...i am doing the very fun routine of:

1.) Put in CD
2.) Click"install"
3.) Click next a couple of times
4.) Go back to step one

Cool

been there, done that... more times than you can know!!!!

I've built my last 4 computers, and modded the crap out of them, so there's been plenty of starting fresh after new installs.

Strangely i kind of enjoy it. It almost has a cleansing effect...LOL I'm weird...

u4ea: sounds like ya acted just in time , tis good you didn't lose much.

minusme: don't be so hard on yaself by calling yourself weird. Building your last 4 computers is quite some feat. This 'cleansing effect' thing is a bit of a worry, though. lol

you should be nice to your software, if you call her b*tch, she won't remove your adware or stuff.

None of them will pick up this virus, only panda will, but yes...spybot is good for spyware Wink

It's not possible to have a meaningful relationship with software by calling her little b****?
