Hey guys.. Been busy writing/recording and would like to get some reviews on one of our new songs called "Way Of Love". It's kinda new country I think.
Thanks so much for listening!

Hey there,
I like the cut. You're right, a bit country and a lot of rock influence. The song carries well all through and has a good musicality about it. It's mixed well but I think the low end is a tad muddy but not to the point that it ruins anything. I'm listening on Ultrasone phones that pretty much tell the truth but still phones... Good song! |

Thanks ladato.
I agree it's a bit on the muddy side. That will be my first fix.
Thanks for taking the time to listen and posting your thoughts.

Thats a very good effort mate, Great recrding quality, im a big fan of the riff (is that de-tuned by the way??) the only thing i think could do with a 'tweak' is the lead solo, i think its a bit short and could be 'phrased' slightly better in places... good luck for the future mate... |

Hi ya FaceFitz,
Yeah, the song is drop D tuned. Derrick wasn't really happy with the guitar solo but he let it go.. It was kind of a "it'll work" thing.
Thanks for listening and leaving your comments and glad you liked it.
Thanks, Alan |
