Yes. The real John Peel was the reason a lot of us got into music in the first place. He was "a God" in his domain. I am no relation, although I did have the pleasure of meeting him once. I would like to pay tribute to him and his great taste in music as he will be greatly missed by many many fans.
Cheers John. Your were great.

Checked out 'So Alone', quite a nice song mate, not totally my cup of tea...lol... but then again nothing seems to be lately!! must be going through some crazy-ass-over-critical-music-analysis type mumbo-jumbo phase, left you a comment anyway, lol, noticed you left yourself a comment too...(saaaddd) your not doing bad out of it tho...lol...thats like 7/8 plays and 2 comments!! thats some good going...
second your thoughts on John Peel mate... the guy was a legend...
anyhoo... good luck with your music man.... |

checked out 'so alone.' it's got a sort of 80's feel. you know, how like in the 80's the took a lot of late 50's sounding song structures and polished them up for the hottest decade ever! at least it was over in the US of A. everyone here has a love/hate relationship with that period. anyhow, it sounds kind of like one of those songs i just described. it wasn't at all expecting it. it's also got a self-made, garage feel about it.
i'm now listening to 'jesus christ.' it's a lot different structure-wise. there's a lot more to it than the first. the lyrics are sometimes hard to understand, though. good luck! |

The structure of So Alone seemed familiar to me too, but I couldn't quite put my finger on it. Not sure who they remind me of.
They have a few other songs uploaded on Jack's site too. I think he's their warm up act or something, or perhaps a spin off band. Same picture as Adam so I'm guessing so.

I like the Funny Farm song. It reminds me of my stupid OCD habits.
