hey a never used this site much, so i dont believe that my band has had over 250 downloads..... does the site add on more hits to make it look more popular? |

That's the first time I've ever heard that question!!!
No, we don't inflate our numbers, that would be cheating, and we're a little more professional than that. 250 downloads is nothing if your songs are decent. We have thousands of visits every day from people checking out tunes, so it's normal to have your song heard.
1) If you're on the charts, you will get more plays
2) If you have radio enabled, you will get more plays - we syndicate our content to hundreds of other websites where people can 'listen' to our radio stations
If you song played (and it's any good) then it get's downloaded frequently (if you allow downloads of your song)

 this is a funny thread! we've got a few over 6000, and nobody has really ever heard of us. we really don't even exist. are you sure that your site is for real, minusme? if our songs are figments of our imagination, then this site and the plays might be, too. i hope the money i fork over every month is also an illusion, too. |

kl thnx, i just thought it was weird having 1000's of plays and 100's of downloads and not having had a single comment or msg from anyone..
just noticed we are 3 in the rap chart, that must be why. |

just listened to your song 'straight bars' (need a Parental Advisory, on that one by the way), gotta say i quite enjoyed it!!! and as you may already know im not a fan of the old rap music...lol... loving the scottish accent mate...lol...what ever you do dont change that... nice piece anyway mate, keep up the good work...  |
