hey people! i know that some of you have already checked it out, but in case you haven't, have a listen to the live version of our song Falling.

the studio version of Falling has proved to be our most popular song at this point, so i hope that everyone will enjoy the live version just as much. the live version also has an alternate 1st half.

the recording and performance are pretty good. unfortunately, as with the other recordings taken from this show, there's a good deal of background noise. there's not as much talking during this song, though, as it was taken from early in the set.

enjoy and, as always, we appreciate any feedback. thanks!!!!

Hi Syl,
I like the live recording of Falling. I have never heard the studio cut but probably will have a listen after hearing this one. There is a small section in two palces that remind me of Robert Fripp which I am a great fan. Nice work and the sonic quality is musical.

ahhhh...(listened agian) i think you maybe refering to the 'triangular' picking pattern 3/4s of the way through... see what your saying dude, but to me its no more 'Fripp' than 'Ben Weinman'...etc...lol...good song though... Cool

Robert Fripp was the Guitarist for King Crimson. Then later branched out as a solo act mainly guitar work under "Robert Fripp and the League of Crafty Gentleman"
Check out the CD "Show of Hands" Awesome work!

it's pretty easy to not know. you just play. sure, i learned the fingerings for a lot of scales and figured out how to slip easily into different keys and all that, but we can't tell you when. if you ask us what time where using, we'll always say 4/4, even though it might be 7/8 or 5/4 or something else entirely. we understand 3/4, so we'd get that right. i often don't even know that i've departed from one key to another in a song i've written until we start to play it together and the dave starts hitting sour notes and realizes that we're not in Kansas anymore. we just know where are hands are going and that's good enough, i guess. if anyone ever wants to try to transcribe our music, be our guests. we'd be cool with it. we know enough about composition to then write a piece for strings or something. we'd still need some help, though. Laughing

thanks a lot for the compliment!
