Hi Everyone,
just a quick question, is it possible to save the actual artist as a favorite, or is it only a song at a time??
also, is there a limit on favourites?? (eg the number you can have etc)
im sorry if this has been asked before, i was slightly lazy and only glanced down page 1 of the posts!!
Keep up the good work guys (and gals where applicable!)... |

to the best of my knowledge, you can only add songs to your "favorites." that's the only place where you're given the option. it'd be cool to be able to just add the artist if you like all of their songs, but you have to do them individually.
i actually kind of like it because it's not like i enjoy everything any given artist creates. on the other hand, there are some that i really like and would like to support them across the board, regardless of whether i like everything or not.
i'd ask you to click the link in my signature and have a listen to my band, but the page is not showing up. not sure why. still waiting for an answer. you can go to the acoustic charts and go to song # 2, "Dull the Senses - Live." i'd point you towards other material, too, but the page is missing. damnit! you can find other tunes of ours in the acoustic charts. have a listen, and leave us a comment if you're so inclined. i checked out the 4 min segment you've got up. sounds like you cats got talent. now you just need to hone in your sound. looking forward to what comes next. i'll be watching.
cheers! |

Good news mate, your page seems to be up and running!! just checked out the first three songs in your list and they sound great, your both very stong with the old banjo eh?? great playing and melody, i will be checking the rest out later, ive left a comment on Dull the senses (live), and left a post 4 you on your Eichendorffring 'song review' topic
Cheers for the positive comments, much apreciated, still a long way to go for us but i know we'll get things moving in the right direction, should have a 4 min clip of 2nd practice up some time this week (practising tomorrow) , , see what gets thrown out this time, im glad we are recording practises though, it is good to get a fresh listen to them and maybe pull out a few ideas, hopefully ill have some 'real' songs up soon...
cheers again bud... |

cheers for the compliments. didn't get the bit about the banjo, though. yeah, recording practice is always a great idea. i'd love to do more of that my mate is real lazy about that sort of thing. he can't wait the 10-15 min it takes me to get things set up. oh well. but you do get lots of great ideas from it, especially if you're jamming. i'll be watching. |

ha ha ha.... dont worry about the banjo thing.... i've had it a lot over here, basically people substitute 'banjo' for 'guitar', and because banjo is not so popular over here its meant to be a joke etc... god knows why it was regurgitated by me in a forum, any hoo...lol... new stuffs up... getting tighter to say it was the second practise (what a difference a week makes)
feel free to leave a comment/rating, would be much appreciated, you know how hard it is for us english with our 'learning difficulties' and 'inter-breading' problems... this post alone has took me 3 hours to write...
i'd complain about the hassle music brings into my life but apparently the brittish dont complain much either....lol...
p.s. sorry about my poor sense of humour... |

HA HA HA dear me its a sad life eh??..lol..
was thinking though it might be nice to have a 'watch artist' type option which would eliminate the need for a 'favourite artist' option, but could still be used to keep users informed as soon as a 'watched artist' writes a new blog or uploads a new song etc...
i've deleted my other post on points for uploading songs...lol...bad idea |
