Hi ive been looking at bass guitars to buy because im starting lessons soon but Fender basses are to expensive, does anyone know any brand with similar quality but cheaper

I think the Tanglwood series aren't bad, i dont play bass personally but the bass player in my band plays a Tanglewood Warrior and for the price (around £200 new) i think its pretty good...
