So, are there others among us in the UBW acoustic void here in the forms? I know I've come across some of you on others, but not often.

Just by chance, are there any forum members reading this that are from the Kansas City area? Since relocating to NW MO, I've had absolutely no luck finding someone that can do competent work on my guitar. I've tried several places, but no luck.

Also, be sure to check out the new tracks we have uploaded to the Sylvan Lane profile.

We'd love to start trading reviews. Later!

Me Laughing (not from Kansas, but acoustic artist)

I'm an old acoustichead. I only recently added this forum so I expect in time it will start becoming a little more established. There's lot of great acoustic artists here, so I'm looking forward to hearing from some of the artists..

i've read other people asking you this, but where do we find your music? i'd be curious to hear it.

i guess there's not a lot of acoustic music makers in the forums. i don't often see them promoting their music, but i'm also not always looking at every post. we in the acoustic arena get the least plays.

i'm always pleased when i see one of the other acoustic artists in the top 10 for all music, regardless of whether i'm really all that into them or not. it's just nice for it to happen. i was way surprised when we had a song make it. it was like all the sudden we were getting massive amounts of plays compared to what we'd had before. i'm also really surprised at how much more recognition we get here than on myspace. we have almost 3 times as many plays/downloads.

i don't know how i got here from asking you about your music. Confused sorry if this breaks a forum rule because i'm way off topic. Laughing

i checked out your profile today and was surprised. the man who basically runs the show only has two songs on his profile. dude, don't you know you can probably get a great discount! Laughing

i can't remember the name of the tune (i'm bad with names...i don't even name my own songs...my band mate does it for me) but it was really good. it was the bottom of the two. the finger picking sounded great. the recording was nice and crisp. i also really dug the harmonizing of the vocals. some other people had commented on that as well.

great work and you should put some more up. take care!

Thanks for the feedback!! I actually had a few more songs up, but I always end up using my profile as the 'test' profile, so I'm adding and subtracting all the time. I should put the 'rest' of my tunes up!! Mr. Green

me thinks it was matey. :pirate emoticon: are you only rolling with one track at the moment? i thought the last time we went through this you had vowed to put more tunes up, now i hear all this business that you've just got the one track. you know you can upload anywhere from 3-5 songs with a free account, minusme, right? Laughing i bet the owner would also cut you a deal since you're on here all the time, or is he a stingy slave-driver?

we've got a dude catching a chicken with a net, but no pirates.

i'm going to post that suggestion now!

post more tunes already! Wink

i'm curious too what ron could do with music, a song is better than none at least i had an idea what he's able more a composer than a sound engineer i would say as i see he did more effort writing the song that making a very raffinate and controlled stuff (that won't be especially good if the compo is dull)

( sometimes there's a moment as you awaking away, you may think you can fly but you better not try...CHICKENS can fly ! (espially when u order it cold in plane)

sure music take a lot of time to make it really good...it's impossible to do a good basic techno song in one hour only.most of my song have at least 14 hours of work on it each. The moment i can't do more and better is my limit but i always find time for it as i got no job or other main activity.Ron is a webmaster and this man, can really become as infernal that to want making a hit...(ron will be busy all time if he do both these things =)
