I'm sure this has been brought up before, but it seems like the overwhelming amount of music on this site is techno related. I'm not saying this is a bad thing, but just wondering why. Because it's a lot of computer minded folks?
Discuss, suckas.

i won't agree to that, we haven't got that many electronic artists on ubw, haven't counted it myself though. however electro-heads are more active on the forums, maybe this got ya confused? |

No that is not true at all, I wish it was more electronica artists out here, If a person throws out a electronica song and only has like only 6 listens in 2 or 3 days, you know there is not enough electronica lovers here, but hopefully that will change in the near future. |

after making this post, i really started browsing through the different genre's. it was the rabid electronica people posting in the forums that messed with my head.(i'm sad we can't cuss here, btw)
we cold however use some more alt-country folks.
where are they??

as ubw we are looking forward to the people joining the forums as well as the site and helping the community grow. ron can explain it better than me, eh ron? |

I think you did a great job of explaining it UNPROJECT!!!!
So far it seems like lots of Metal, Electronica, Hip hop, Rock, Acoustic, and Alternative. Although I am starting to see lots of additional genre's as well. (R & B, Christian)
We are growing really well, knock on wood, and with that growth the forums should pick up!!! Most of the moderators just happen to be "electronica artists", because they are nice, talented, and were willing to do it!!!!!!
I have a lot more in store for this site, so make yourself comfortable!!!!
Great to have you here!

i've been telling musician friends of mine about it and i've also made a posts on myspace music about the greatness of this site.
however, there's not a bunch of big breasted teenage hoez 'round these parts, so it's hard to see it escalating to that magnitude.
tho i hope i'm wrong. |
