I have a couple songs that I would appreciate a review on.
The music is suited to a listener who enjoys a relaxed meditative ambient sound.
I have been practicing excessive vocal layering, which has proven to be a very hard process because of the time it takes to repeat and extend each vocal track. The two songs with these examples are "In the Sea of Clouds" & "Summer", the one is based on using arpegiated triads, and the the other a simple rolling piano piece. I have tried to enhance the music by adding Cello, synth strings and acoustic guitar layers. Then the main focus of the melody was the vocal layering whereby I layer my voice about 70 times, using a lower, medium and higher pitch each time I sing, the end result is a smooth choral swathe, that sounds like a hundred of me singing. My inspiration comes from artists like Enya, Delerium, Sarah McLachlan and Gregorian Chants.
