Here are a couple new songs with guitar, flute, and vocals. Though I used the cheap plastic mic that typically comes with every computer, each track was enhanced using Cubase 4. Comments, praises or criticisms, are more than welcome.*

*Feel free to post a reply with any acoustically oriented songs and I'd be happy to listen and share my thoughts. |

Hi Tim, I like "Leaves You Hoping" the best. Sounds good considering the mic you used.
I would like to hear the acoustic a little louder though...
Keep up the good work,

Agree - Leaves you hoping is a nice song. Good job with songwriting. Performance is nice too. Good job with the swells of energy. It lets loose and pulls back... Not a bad job at all given the limitations of your mic. You've got a good sound, and a bit better mic would let a bit more clarity/presence through in your recordings, but this is pretty good as is.
If you have time, here's a song by a buddy of mine for review:
Kerry Jeter - Still

BTW - Kerry's originally from Marion IL - not sure if that's close to you or not. |

He loved us first is a really nice song also. you captured a really nice sound off of your acoustic in this one. like the falsetto parts of the vocals. adds a nice touch. like the flute alot. don't hear flutes much around here! |
