Hi there its been along while since ive posted here. Still one of the best unsigned band forums (people actually listen to stuff here. Amazing).
The unclejohnny train is still chugging away, although its more of a Stevenson era engine than a Japanese bullit train.
Ive posted all new stuff up to our page, Some are a bit demoish, but hey what the hell.
Have a listen and describe your thoughts on them if you wish.

These tunes are really good. And the sound quality is great imho - demoish or not. |

Cool stuff! I REALLY like the singer. Great melody lines and nice vabrato..
Can't wait to hear the finished product.

I listened to Chestnut Tree. Some nice picking going on there, with cool not too standard melodies. I agree that the vocalist is awesome, very soothing and enjoyable ethereal voice. The atmosphere of the track is just plain amazing, and the use of the piano at the end is a cool touch. I just wish the track went on for longer, it has the potential to become a long epic track. I'd be really interested to hear this again with better production and some more development, because it sounds very promising! |
