do you have any of your tracks posted here at Unsignedbandweb? That is also a good way for "testing the water." You can track how many plays you get and draw attention to you music by posting on the forum. Well, sometimes you can. It depends on what kind of music you make.
I'll have a listen and post my thoughts. |

Well, I just checked out Deny and have to commend you on the recording quality and great production. The drums could be a touch louder or EQed to bring out more of the attack, in my opinion. The vocals are well done and the vocal harmonies are a nice touch. I also really liked the guitar sound chosen for this track. I'm personally not much of a fan of lyric based music, or pop-rock for that matter, but I think that you guys are really good at what you do and have proven it with Deny. I also think that you'd go over well in the US and could get air-time.
If you're interested in "testing the water" at some UK sites and don't think you've exhausted all of them yet, send me a personal message and I can recommend one to you where there is a lot of activity and the boards are really active. Like this one, there is a very supportive community. I'm located in the US and was surprised how well our music was received. If you listen to it, you'll see what I mean. Just click on the link in my signature.
Best of luck to you! |

Thanks for the message, I've just pm'd you. Listened to your tracks, tranquil is a word that pops into my head when I first heard them. This is just my kind of music, I write slightly different stuff but it's still in a similar group.
I've updated one of the links above, the song is called 'Falling' and I've had some amazing MySpace reviews, the fanspace there is expanding, over 30,000 so far.
Here's hoping 2007 is the year.
Michael.
